Watch The Final Trailer For Stranger Things Third Season

The last couple of minutes could have been a scene in any Jurassic Park film

On July 4th, Netflix's Stranger Things will make an arrival for its third season, and the last trailer for that eight-episode experience has just been released. In classic Hollywood promotion fashion, the trailer ups the stakes and makes everything feel considerably more whole-world destroying than usual. It extends the show's development in tone: from a generally slow-consuming and subtle mystery to the more excited second season, and now a third season that feels more like an action motion picture. Starting off in the natural "use your creative mind" style of dread instigation that we know Stranger Things for, before the end, the trailer is loaded up with action sequences, bloodied heroes, and thundering monsters compelling the kids to fall down behind smashed-up cars. It's Jurassic Park meets Ghostbusers, which, when you consider it, can still particularly work, however it's unquestionably not the same old Stranger Things.
